This experience last about 1.5 hours from start to finish which is where it gets it name. The mushers encourage guests to be hands on to their comfort level. Participants can meet the sled dogs, pet them, ask questions, and even help prepare the doggies for the trail. Once the doggies and sled are prepared, guests will then embark on a 5 mile\/50 minute ride (ride time varies depending on guest weights, trail conditions and the doggies pulling the sled). The mushers always try to leave a few minutes at the end to chat and say thank you with belly rubs, pats and doggie cookies!
